# Create a team in a project

`POST /api/v1/projects/{id}/teams`

MCP tool: `create-team`

A group of the project's members that work is assigned to before one person takes it. Members must already be in the project, or `404`.

## Parameters

- `id` (path, required) — The project's `proj_…` id.

## Responses

- `201` — The team
- `400` — The request body or query string does not match the operation's schema
- `401` — No Flow access token was presented, or it is not valid
- `404` — No such project, or none this caller is a member of
