# Clear a flag a write raised without being refused

`POST /api/v1/tasks/{id}/reconcile`

Clears `needs_reconciliation`, the flag a write raises instead of being refused (a move with no cause, a close with no outcome, a stale write). `reason` is required and logged; clear a flag only for a true one.

## Parameters

- `id` (path, required)

## Responses

- `200` — The acknowledgement; `needs_reconciliation` is now false
- `400` — The request body or query string does not match the operation's schema, or a `calendar` task names no date (`calendar_requires_date`)
- `404` — No such task
