Reference
Change what an endpoint takes and stamps, keeping its URL
The update-ingest-endpoint tool, and the REST call it is generated from.
RESTPATCH /api/v1/ingest-endpoints/{id}
MCPupdate-ingest-endpoint
The URL stays: whatever already posts keeps working, filtered and stamped the new way. Present replaces, null clears, absent leaves alone, so match: null takes everything. source cannot change. Changing auth mints the new mode's secret and the old token stops working at once, so the answer carries a token, as a rotation's does.
Parameters
- id
The endpoint's id.
Body
This operation takes a JSON body. The spec is the contract and it is what the agent reads every turn — seepackages/server/src/rest/openapi/v1/for the shape.
Responses
200The endpoint as it now stands
400The request does not match the operation's schema
403An API key cannot mint, change, rotate or revoke an ingest endpoint — a permanent credential issuing another one is an escalation. Sign in, or use a token that signing in issued.
404No such endpoint on this account, or a `suggested_project` that resolves to nothing — and the answer a project-restricted credential gets for every operation here, since the inbox has no project for a restriction to narrow.
Generated from the spec this operation is implemented against, so the two names above cannot disagree with the surface a client sees.
